AI agents
AI phone agents for call centers and growing businesses
Each agent does one job well. We train it on your script, connect it to your phone line and systems, and test it against your real calls before it answers a single customer.
Most call centers don't need a robot that replaces everyone. They need help with a few call types that eat hours every day: status checks, bookings, the same five questions on a loop, and new leads that go cold because nobody called back in time. Each Voxvencer agent below is built around one of those jobs.
Every agent runs on the same three in-house models: speech recognition to hear the caller, a language model to decide what to do, and text to speech to answer. You can try all three for free before buying anything. Start a trial and run your own recordings through them.
Inbound support agent
The inbound support agent picks up when customers call with questions you answer every day. It handles the call end to end when it can and hands over to your team, with a summary, when it can't.
What it handles
- Order, delivery and account status, looked up in your system while the caller waits
- Answers drawn from your help center, policies and product information
- Overflow when every person on your team is busy, and the whole queue after hours
- Warm transfers to the right team with the reason for the call already written down
When it works best
If a large share of your calls can be resolved with a lookup and an answer, this agent pays for itself fastest. A useful exercise before talking to us: pull a week of call reasons from your system and count how many were status checks or FAQ-type questions. That number is roughly the volume the agent can take.

Outbound campaign agent
The outbound agent works through call lists for renewals, reactivations, payment reminders and event follow-ups. It reads the same approved script every time and records the outcome of each call.
What it handles
- Campaign calls inside the calling windows you set for each time zone
- Opt-out requests, honored on the call and added to your internal Do Not Call list
- Callbacks booked at the time the person asks for
- Disposition codes written back to your CRM so the next campaign starts with clean data
Compliance comes first
Calls made with an AI-generated voice are treated as artificial voice calls under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, which the FCC confirmed in February 2024. In practice that means you need the right consent on file before the agent dials. We won't launch a campaign until consent, calling hours and Do Not Call checks are sorted out. Our compliance articles explain the basics, but your own counsel should review your lists.

Appointment setter
The appointment setter books, moves and cancels appointments against your live availability. It is popular with clinics, salons, home services and anyone whose front desk spends half the day on the phone.
What it handles
- New bookings, with the caller choosing from real open slots
- Reschedules and cancellations, with the freed slot released immediately
- Reminder calls before the appointment, with an easy way to rebook
- A text confirmation after the call, if you use SMS
The agent only offers times your calendar or booking system says are free, and it follows your rules on buffers, appointment types and who can be booked with whom.

Lead qualification agent
Web leads cool off quickly. The lead qualification agent calls new form submissions within a minute or two, asks your qualifying questions and transfers the promising ones to a salesperson while they are still on the phone.
What it handles
- Immediate callback when a new lead arrives from your forms or ad platforms
- Your qualifying questions, asked in a natural order instead of read off a list
- Live transfer of qualified leads, or a booked call if no closer is free
- Answers, score and notes saved on the lead record
Because the agent calls people who just asked to be contacted, consent is usually simpler than with cold lists. It still needs to be captured properly on your form, and we will check that with you.

Business receptionist
For small and mid-sized businesses without a full-time front desk, the receptionist answers every call, deals with routine questions and makes sure urgent ones reach a person.
What it handles
- Hours, directions, prices, services and other questions you answer daily
- Routing to the right person or department, or to voicemail when they're out
- Messages sent to you by email or text, written clearly instead of a garbled voicemail
- Urgent calls flagged and forwarded based on rules you set

Custom agent
Some workflows don't fit any template: multi-step intake forms, insurance first notice of loss, post-service surveys, payment reminders with a handoff to billing staff. For those we build an agent around your process.
We start with recordings of your real calls and your current script or call flow. From those we write the agent's instructions, connect the systems it needs and run it against your recordings until it handles them the way your best people would. Only then does it take live calls, usually on a small share of traffic first.

How every agent goes live
- Discovery call. We look at your call reasons, volume and the systems involved, and agree on what the agent should and shouldn't do.
- Build. We write the agent's instructions, connect your phone line and systems, and set up handoff rules.
- Test on your calls. We replay real call recordings and scripted test calls until results are where you want them.
- Soft launch. The agent takes a slice of traffic, or only after-hours calls, while you review transcripts.
- Full launch and tuning. We keep reviewing transcripts with you and adjust the instructions as new call types show up.
Frequently asked questions
How long does it take to launch an agent?
It depends mostly on integrations. An inbound agent that answers from your FAQs and transfers calls is the quickest to set up. Agents that book into a calendar or write to a CRM take longer because we test every read and write against your real system. We give you a timeline after the first call, once we know what has to connect.
Can one agent do several of these jobs?
Yes, but we usually advise against starting that way. An agent with one clear job is easier to test and easier to trust. Once it is working, adding a second task is a small change.
What happens when the agent doesn't know the answer?
It says so and hands off. You choose whether that means a live transfer, a callback request or a message to your team. Agents are instructed not to guess at prices, policies or anything you haven't given them.
Do you record and store calls?
Recording and transcripts can be switched on or off per agent, and you decide how long they are kept. If you record, the agent announces it at the start of the call where the law requires consent.
