Free AI tools for phone teams

Six tools, three in-house models. Use them to transcribe calls, write scripts and record greetings, and to judge whether our models are good enough for your customers.

Free speech to text

Upload a call recording (wav, mp3, m4a, ogg or webm, up to 5 MB) or record straight from your microphone, and you get a plain-text transcript back. Our speech model is trained on phone audio, so the fairest test is a real call: a speakerphone, a caller in a car, someone with a strong accent. Clean studio audio flatters every model.

Tips for a useful test: try a recording of at least 30 seconds, include names and numbers (they are where models slip), and compare the transcript against what was actually said. If you want a number, count the wrong, missing and extra words and divide by the total words spoken. That is the word error rate, and our article on how word error rate works explains why it matters.

AI chat with our language model

This is the same language model that decides what our agents say. Give it the kind of instructions an agent would get ("you are the receptionist for a dental office; never quote prices; offer to book a consultation") and then play an awkward caller. Watch whether it sticks to the rules when you push it. That tells you more than asking it trivia.

Free text to speech

Type up to 400 characters, generate the audio, listen and download it. Phone lines strip out a lot of audio detail, so play the result through a phone speaker as well as headphones. Pay attention to numbers, dates and addresses. A voice that reads "2:15 PM" or "Suite 700" awkwardly will sound worse on a call than in a demo.

Voicemail greeting generator

Pick a greeting, edit it to fit your business, generate the recording and upload the file to your phone system. The tool starts you with a sensible template. Keep greetings short: callers want to know they reached the right place, when you will call back, and what to leave in the message.

A greeting that works for most small businesses:

"You've reached Harbor Street Dental. We're with patients or closed right now. Leave your name, number and the best time to reach you, and we'll call back the same business day. For a dental emergency after hours, call 555-0142."

Call script writer

Describe the campaign: who you are calling, why, and what a good outcome looks like. The tool drafts an opener, a few qualifying questions and short replies to the objections you are most likely to hear. Treat it as a first draft. Read it out loud, cut anything you wouldn't say on a real call, and check that any claims match what your business actually offers.

Call summary

Paste a call transcript and get back the reason for the call, what was agreed and the next steps. It is handy for QA reviews and CRM notes. Pair it with the speech to text tool: transcribe a recording first, then summarize it.

Frequently asked questions

Are the tools really free?

Yes, during your trial. You get 3 days, 30 AI chat messages, 10 transcriptions and 10 voice clips with no card. When the trial ends you can talk to us about an agent or an API plan.

Do you keep the audio I upload?

Uploaded audio is sent to our speech model to produce your transcript. If you plan to test with customer recordings and need details on retention or a data processing agreement, contact us before uploading.

Can I use the voice recordings commercially?

Yes. Greetings and clips you generate can be used on your own phone system, website or ads.

Why is the trial so short?

The tools exist so you can check our accuracy on your own material. A few days is enough for that, and keeping it small lets us offer it without asking for a card.
